HeyMark
Seed Round · March 2026

Everyone needs to do marketing.
Almost no one can do it well.

Millions of businesses and content creators compete for the same attention on social media. And now that the barrier to launching products and competitors has dropped, standing out is harder than ever. But hiring an agency or a team is still absurdly expensive, and no one can tell you how much of that spend actually converts into sales.

The Problem

Marketing is expensive, fragmented, and inefficient. Whether you're a creator or a company

πŸ’Έ

Expensive

A community manager costs $4K-$6K/mo in the US. An agency charges $2K-$10K/mo. 76% of agencies say they deliver great work. Only 39% of their clients agree. And $37B in ad spend is wasted every year.

ZipRecruiter · Wpromote/Ascend2 · Proxima

🧩

Fragmented

15,384 martech tools exist today. 100x more than in 2011. Marketers use only 33% of their stack's capabilities. Teams switch between apps 1,200 times a day and lose 5 weeks a year just reorienting.

ChiefMartec 2025 · Gartner · Harvard Business Review

😩

Inefficient

73% of SMBs don't trust their own marketing strategy. Measuring ROI is marketers' #1 challenge. Only 1 in 3 can prove what works. Everyone knows they need better marketing. Almost no one can do it.

88% of organizations already use AI (McKinsey 2025). Marketing is the #1 function where they deploy it. A community manager costs $4K-$6K/mo in the US, $800-$1,500 in LATAM. Mark does the same job for $49-$599/mo. 400M+ SMBs and creators worldwide need marketing. We start with the 75M+ doing it digitally in English and Spanish markets. Our $50M ARR target implies 0.2% of SAM. Buffer built $22M ARR capturing 0.07%. Gamma reached $100M ARR at 1.3%.

Business Model

Mark does what an agency does: creates videos, writes copy, publishes on social media, replies to messages, analyzes competitors, and manages campaigns. All for a monthly subscription based on how many brands you manage and how much you use it.

What is a brand?

A brand is a business, a project, or an identity that Mark manages. It can be your restaurant, your online store, your personal brand, or a product line. Each brand has its own Brand Kit, connected social accounts, content history, and strategy. All separate and personalized.

Starter
$49/mo
1 brand · 5,000 credits

For creators and entrepreneurs who want to get started. ~68 interactions per month: chat, ideas, copy, images, and analytics. No video generation. No ads. Video and ads drive the natural upgrade to Pro.

Pro
$249/brand/mo
Multi-brand · 30,000 credits/brand

For SMBs and growing businesses. 6x more usage than Starter. Enough for a daily content operation with video, UGC, competitive analysis, and DM automation. Can add additional brands. Ideal for businesses with 2-3 product lines.

Business
$599/brand/mo
Multi-brand · 80,000 credits/brand

For scale-ups and agencies. 16x more usage than Starter. Virtually unlimited content, premium video, voice cloning, ad management. An agency with 5 brands pays $2,755/mo and replaces a team of 3-5 people.

Enterprise
Custom
From $5,000/mo

For companies with 10+ brands across multiple countries. Everything in Business, plus: SSO, roles and permissions, uptime SLA, dedicated API, and priority support. Cencosud (14 brands, 5 countries) would pay ~$8K-$16K/mo.

Starter: text and images, analytics, and publishing. No video, no ads. Pro: adds ad management (Meta, Google, TikTok). Business: adds multi-user for teams and agencies. The difference between plans is functionality + usage volume (credits). Pricing scales naturally with client complexity: an entrepreneur with 1 brand pays $49. An agency with 5 brands pays $2,755. A holding company with 14 brands pays $8K+.

*Claude Code can achieve all these capabilities, but requires configuring API keys, connecting multiple platforms, and having the technical know-how for each one. HeyMark is that same power, ready to use from WhatsApp. No code, no manual integrations.

The software industry reacts to AI by adding features to dashboards that are already complex. More capabilities means more menus, more onboarding, more friction. We believe the winning product won't be the one with the most visible features. It will be the one that absorbs complexity internally and delivers a radically simpler experience externally. Mark is not another feature. Not a dashboard with AI on top. Not an agency dressed up with prompts. It's a coordination layer where the user arrives, talks, delivers context, and gets real work executed. No stack to learn. No tools to configure. Just a conversation that understands your brand and acts on it.

The right product at the right time

In 2025, three things converged. Sonnet 4 made autonomous agents viable for non-technical users. HeyGen and Runway made broadcast-quality video generatable in seconds. ElevenLabs made voice cloning production-ready. For the first time, a $49/mo subscription can replace a $4K/mo community manager. This convergence didn't exist 12 months ago.

⚑

The window is now

AI model costs drop 2.5x every 18 months (Sonnet 3 to 4, documented). Video generation hit ad-grade quality in 2025. The pieces are in place. What's missing is someone who puts them together for the people who actually need marketing.

🎯

Agents, not dashboards

Jasper sells copy. Hootsuite sells scheduling. HeyGen sells avatars. Mark does everything. Analyzes, creates, publishes, responds, and optimizes. One conversation, one agent, every capability a marketing team needs.

Why Raise

What $1.2M in capital changes

HeyMark works without investment. The LATAM team keeps monthly burn around $130K while we scale, instead of the $300K+ this would cost in SF. But reaching $3.8M MRR takes 3+ years without capital. With $1.2M, we do it in 18 months and open a commercial presence in San Francisco.

🌱

Without Capital

Organic growth
$200K–$500K MRR at month 18
1,000–2,500 Users at month 18
~18+ months Time to $500K MRR
  • Organic only, no paid acquisition
  • No enterprise AEs. Can't close large deals
  • 100% founder networks and word of mouth
  • Team limited to what revenue covers
  • No dedicated content marketing
  • Slow but sustainable growth

πŸ“ˆ
Paid Ads from M1
$20K M1 scaling to $410K by M18. Jasper grew from $0 to $42M ARR in 12 months with aggressive ads + affiliates. Without capital, organic only. And organic has a ceiling.
🏒
2 AEs + Agency Partners
CMO's network (30+ agency clients) = immediate enterprise pipeline. A single enterprise deal at $5K+/mo pays an AE's salary for 2+ months.
πŸŒ‰
SF Presence from M1
Commercial presence in San Francisco. Product team stays in LATAM. The LATAM salary arbitrage + US investor network is the combination.
⚑
Team 8β†’25 people
Hyper-lean team. 25 people at M18 managing ~$3.8M MRR. AI agents handle the repetitive execution. $1.82M ARR per employee.
The key point: HeyMark already works. Product is in beta with 2,000+ on waitlist. Revenue starts at close. Product team in LATAM, commercial presence in SF. $1.2M in LATAM buys what $4.8M buys in Silicon Valley. In AI marketing, scale and cost efficiency compound over time.

The Ask

Seed Round · $1.2M SAFE · $12M post-money cap · 10% dilution

$1.2M

We're not raising pre-product. HeyMark has 2,000+ on waitlist and a working product. Revenue and measured retention start at close. $12M cap reflects a running business, not an idea.

β†’ Breakeven M9 (base), M11 (bear)
10% dilution. Breakeven at M9. We're building this with or without the raise. HeyMark works without investment and the LATAM team keeps burn around $130K/mo. The question is speed. $1.2M buys 18 months of acceleration before the category consolidates. $12M cap because by close we'll have revenue, retention data, and a product in market. This round locks in 10% before revenue validates a significantly higher valuation.

How Mark Charges

Simple: you pay per brand and per usage. Each brand is a business or project that Mark manages. With its own social accounts, Brand Kit, strategy, and history. Each plan unlocks more capabilities: Starter creates content, Pro adds ads, Business adds multi-user. Usage is measured in credits.

What are credits?

Credits measure how much you use Mark. Every video, post, analysis, or DM consumes credits. Text and analysis cost little. Premium video and avatars cost more. Starter creates and publishes content. Pro adds ad management. Business adds multi-user. Each tier unlocks more capabilities with more volume.

Starter
$49
/mo · 1 brand

5,000 credits/mo. ~68 interactions: chat, ideas, copy, images, analysis. No video generation. Video is what drives the natural upgrade. For a creator who wants to systematize their marketing with text and images.

Pro
$249
/brand/mo · multi-brand

30,000 credits/brand/mo. Mix as you like: ~150 chat/image interactions + up to ~12 video clips per month, depending on the format split. Typical mix: 8 simple clips (b-roll, product), 2 premium clips, 1 UGC avatar, 1 full production. Real daily content operations. Can add brands. An agency with 3 clients pays $747/mo.

Business
$599
/brand/mo · multi-brand

80,000 credits/brand/mo. Mix as you like: ~300 chat/image interactions + up to ~30 video clips per month, depending on the format split. Typical mix: 18 simple clips, 6 premium clips, 4 UGC avatars, 2 full productions. For scale-ups and agencies at industrial scale. 5 brands = $2,755/mo, replaces a team of 3-5 people.

Enterprise
Custom
From $5,000/mo

For companies with 10+ brands across multiple countries. Everything in Business, plus SSO (corporate login), team roles and permissions, guaranteed uptime SLA, and dedicated API. A holding company like Cencosud (14 brands in 5 countries) would pay ~$8K-$16K/mo. A fraction of what they spend on agencies.

How does pricing scale with brands?

In Pro and Business, each additional brand is charged at the plan price. Starting at 4 brands, a 20% volume discount applies. Pricing scales continuously. There is no "gap" between $599 and Enterprise.

ExamplePlanPrice/brandMonthly totalEquivalent to...
Creator with 1 projectStarter$49$49Less than 1 hour of freelancer
Restaurant with 1 brandPro$249$24910% the cost of a community manager
Agency with 3 clientsBusiness$599$1,797Less than 1 junior employee

Retail with 8 brandsBusiness (20% disc.)$524 avg$4,19210% the cost of an agency
Holding, 14 brands, 5 countriesEnterpriseCustom$8K-$16K3-5% of current agency spend
Upgrades happen naturally through two paths: features and usage. A creator on Starter who wants to run ads upgrades to Pro. A growing agency that needs team access upgrades to Business. And within each tier, usage grows with success. More credits, more brands. Revenue scales with the customer, without friction and without sales calls.

But not everything costs $0.29. Video is a whole different story

When Mark uses a tool (image, analysis, video), it pays the Sonnet cost ($0.29) plus the tool cost. A simple chat costs $0.29. A full video with avatar, voice, and lip sync can cost $14-$19. This is what makes credits work as a natural gate. Expensive operations consume credits much faster.

Video is the natural upgrade trigger. Starter is text only: chat, copy, images, analysis. Video generation requires Pro ($249, ~12 videos/mo) or Business ($599, ~30 videos/mo). As soon as a user wants video, they upgrade. Post-optimization, chat costs drop ~50% (model routing to Haiku) and video+overhead costs drop ~50% (cheaper models + scale efficiency + caching), pushing margins from 40-57% to 69-78%.

Starter is the acquisition funnel (57% margin pre-opt, 78% post-opt). No video, designed to hook. As soon as the user wants video, they need Pro or Business. Post-optimization, margins climb to 69-78% because chat costs drop ~50% (model routing) and video+overhead drop ~50% (cheaper models + scale + caching). The business is in Pro→Business: Business with 3.5 brands generates $2,097/mo per user at 69% post-opt margin. If Starter→Pro conversion is slower than expected, the business still works: 90% of revenue comes from Pro, Business, and Enterprise.

Are these numbers realistic? Our base case at M12 ($15.6M ARR) outpaces ArcAds (which hit $6M ARR at M16 with 5 people, $0 raised) and matches Gamma (which hit $15M ARR at M12 with $23M raised). Two of the most capital-efficient AI startups in history. Jasper reached $42M ARR at M12 with aggressive paid ads. We're a marketing team building a marketing product. With our own distribution, paid ads from M1, and an enterprise network of 30+ clients.
What could go wrong? Starter→Pro conversion could be slower (90% of revenue doesn't depend on Starter). Churn could be 2x higher (bear case accounts for this). AI costs may not drop as fast (our pre-optimization margins are already positive on Pro and Business). Enterprise could take longer (that's why it's no more than 9% of revenue in the base case). None of these scenarios kill the business. They slow it down.

These numbers include everything startups typically forget: legal ($4K-$14K/mo including SOC 2 + $29K M1 setup spike), SF presence from M1 ($12K/mo flat: visa, C-corp, coworking, housing, travel), D&O and cyber insurance ($500-$1K/mo), payroll processing, AI development tools (Claude Code Max Γ— entire team + 5 autonomous agents from M1), equipment for new hires, and banking/FX fees. Cash-negative M1-M8, breakeven M9. Cash floor $409K at M8 in the base case. Product team stays in LATAM. SF is for commercial presence, investor network, and partnerships.

Hiring Plan

The goal is a hyper-lean team where AI agents handle most of the execution. Every team member works alongside autonomous agents from day 1. The human team may not need to grow as much as projected here, but we budget for it. Product team in LATAM. Commercial presence in SF from M1.

25 people at month 18 managing ~$3.8M MRR. $1.82M ARR per employee. AI agents handle the bulk of repetitive execution so the human team focuses on judgment, strategy, and building. The full team (salaries + AI infrastructure) costs $181K/mo. Still less than what equivalent SF talent would cost. Product team in LATAM, commercial presence in SF.

Every hire responds to a signal, not a schedule. AEs join when we see real corporate sales demand. Senior Engineers join when there's a clear technical frontier to push. Customer Success joins when user volume makes it a bottleneck. Filmmaker joins when content production can't keep up with paid ads scale. If the signals don't appear, the hires don't happen. The plan above is the base case. The team could end up leaner if AI agents absorb more than expected. Headcount grows 3.1× (8→25) while revenue grows 152× ($25K→$3.8M MRR).

The question is speed. $1.2M buys 18 months of acceleration before the category consolidates. $12M cap because by close we'll have revenue, retention data, and a product in market. This round locks in 10% before revenue validates a significantly higher valuation.
